"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."-Psalm 116:15.Dr. Ride needn't wave banners nor ignite fireworks, as her silent courage and dedication is a witness to her Americanism and loyalty,

Dr. Ride was an amazing woman. Even before she had the courage (like all astronauts) to go into space, she had the courage to insist on studying physics when most of us girls were discouraged from pursuing any higher mathematical or scientific studies. I wonder how many girls and women have discovered a love of science or math and the opportunity to pursue careers in those fields because of Sally? Imagine the discoveries that will be made and how many lives have been, and will be, improved as a result of Sally's influence on girls and women! Now THAT's a LEGACY!!!

May God give peace, strength, and comfort to all of Sally's family and friends. May her memory be eternal!
