Nethella R. "Nicky" Hall

I love Mom Great freind to all who were lucky to have known her We will all Miss You

Nicky was one of the smartest, kindest, and most fun-loving people I've ever known. She was a "rock" for her family. I'll miss her so much.

Sadly this information came to my attention today by my wife. I spent many days with the Hall family as a young boy from my freshman to junior year at Rich East High School in Park forest,Il. Mrs.Hall always made me feel welcomed as did Mr.Hall. Fact is Mr. Hall helped me get through my summer chemistry class in 1964. Mr.Hall also caused me to to give serious thought to someday being an attorney as he gave such a grand example.We shared many conversations on that subject -he inspired me. I remember him and Mrs.Hall defending my decision to volunteer after my JR. year in high school for I felt the need to defend my couutry by joining the Marines. When I came back from Vietnam they made feel so good about myself when others were turning there back.They both set such a great example for me.I am now a father of five with 12 grandchildren,a very close family,much love, and married to the same girl for 42 years. I love them both and pray that I will see them again.Thank you Mr. and Mrs.Hall for your love and great examples of how to live a full life with meaning.Jim Bandy,Homewood,Il

Life's great mystery has now rejoined two special spirits. You Steve have done them proud in carrying forward their legacy, and your siblings in their own way as well. Know that you all are in my thoughts as you move forward in celebration of her special place in your hearts.

Thanks to all who come here to share memories of a remarkable woman. Know that she went peacefully, and kept her marvelous sense of humor up until the very end.
