Al and Family
I was so shocked and feel so helpless in finding the right words to tell you how I feel. Please know you are in my prayers and know she will always remain in your heart. Enjoy the good memories, they make it easier. I have been there and understand. Call if you would like to talk.

Heartfelt and prayerful condolences from the Chicago Police Chaplains. At the request of John Chibe, Phyllis will be remembered at the Police Mass on Sunday, 23 FEB, 10:00 a.m. (not different time than usual), at Mercy Home - 1140 W. Dear Al and family. We are a voice from the past. Infact sixty years this May you and Phyllis, and Jim and I , went to prom together. Then to the Chez Parie? For dinner. Sofie Tucker was the entertainer that night. It is an evening that still remains vivid in our minds. I just recently saw the picture we had taken that evening. We have often wondered how the two of you were. Phyllis was a wonderful person, and many special memories remain from our high school days. Please accept our sympathy on her passing. Life is indeed fragile, and yes, way to short. God be with you and your family as you go forward at this sad time. Yolanda and Jim McCombs
