Betty Anderson
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Betty McCraw Anderson, 69, of Spartanburg, went home to be with her Lord on June 21, 2013. A native of Spartanburg, she was the widow of Wallace Leroy Anderson and the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson McCraw and Elizabeth Waddell McCraw. She worked as a spinner for the textile industry and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens.
She is survived by her son, Donald Ray Finley and his wife Lynn of Spartanburg; her daughter, Betty Ann Swank and her husband David of Gaffney; two brothers, Charles and Joe Ray McCraw both of Spartanburg; two sisters, Francis Huskey of Cowpens and Jeanette Emory of Mayo; five grandchildren; and by one great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Andrew Finley; two brothers, John and Albert McCraw; and one sister, Mae Sue Duncan.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2013, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013, at 11:00 am at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with Rev. Henry Coley and Rev. Dennis Burger officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the residence.
