Phyllis,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I have known her for a long time, without knowing this was your mother. She was always a sweet lady, and always had a warm smile. May the God of All Comfort surround you with peace at this time in your journey.

Phyllis and Candy, Back in 1981 I had the pleasure of beginning work alongside JoAnn at Drs. Herbert, Sereque & Herbert. We shared many a day of laughs and on special days JoAnn would somehow be able to turn our small upstairs breakroom into a complete meal for all of the staff- mind you cooking all of this on either a hot plate and in a toaster oven! JoAnn was always generous and kind to our patients and so easy to get to know as a coworker. At that time Candy was just a small child so I don't know if she will remember me, but Jo Ann loved you so very much. Phyllis, Jo Ann always was so very proud of you and what a fine woman you became. Losing your Mama is so hard, so my heart aches for you. I know you will have so many treasured memories of JoAnn and her constant smile. Please accept my deepest sympathy at your loss. Linda Burns
