MURDOCH Dame Elisabeth AC DBE The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation and Auxiliaries pay tribute to an extraordinary Australian. Dame Elisabeth's commitment to making the world a better place is not only inspirational, but truly transformational. Her generosity toward children and families through her devotion to The Royal Children's Hospital has had immeasurable impact on the future of children's health in Victoria and beyond. Her life and her boundless philanthropic spirit are an inspiration to all of us at the Foundation and Auxiliaries. She will be missed by the many thousands of people whose lives she touched through her beloved Royal Children's Hospital. Our lives are richer for having known her, and we will continue to strive to live up to her example, now and into the future.

We wish to pay tribute to Dame Elisabeth's commitment to the health and wellbeing of the children of Victoria, her visionary appreciation of the importance of clinical research, and her personal engagement with the Hospital's history and mission.
