Joanne was even more of a tennis fanatic than I am. As in life, she was not afraid to take charge on a court. Am so glad she made it to the Indian Wells Tournament last March. Rest in peace, Joanne.

Joanne always had a smile on her face and a laugh to follow. She will be greatly missed by many.

I was Joanne's classmate through out our Grant School, Lewis & Clark HS, and WSU days and into our career years. I remember the old neighborhood where Joanne lived. Of all of my school year memories Joanne comes to mind with her laugh and love of life. To Joanne's family my sincere condolences;
With warm regards; Paul Akiyama.
