HINNENKAMP, Margaret A. (Age 89) Margaret (Marge) Ann Hinnenkamp passed away on February 24, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital. Marge was born July 8, 1924 in Hysham, Montana, daughter of Michael and Regina C. Snedker. She graduated from Hysham High School in 1942. In 1942 she went to Bremerton, Washington and worked in the US Navy ship yards. In 1945 she moved to Spokane, WA and attended Kinman Business University. In 1954 she married Jim J. Hensle and moved to Colfax, WA where they farmed. Mr. Hensle died in 1965. In 1972 she married Joseph J. Hinnenkamp of Steptoe, WA. Mr. Hinnenkamp died in 1985. In 1987 she returned to Spokane and resided here since. She is survived by her sisters Jean (Jack) Harris of Brea, CA, Colleen Dodroe of Spokane, and eight nieces and nephews. Marge was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Regina Snedker, husbands James Hensle and Joseph Hinnenkamp, brother John Snedker, sisters Joan Caldwell, Corrine Snedker, and Marylin Erma, and two nieces and one nephew. Over many years, quietly and with no fanfare, Marge gave generously to numerous charities within the local community. Blessed with a keen mind and unerring memory, she was remarkably sharp all of her life. Marge was strongly independent, and she enjoyed travelling, working in the garden, and swimming at the "Y." She gave her time and efforts to the Altar Society at St. Anthony's Parish and Trinity School, and many other worthwhile causes. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3rd, to be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2320 N. Cedar, Spokane. Committal will take place afterward at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N. Wall St., Spokane. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested, to Trinity School at St. Anthony Parish.
