DE WITT, Marianne
On January 10, 2017 an extraordinary woman by the name of Marianne De Witt passed away. She joined her husband Walt of 67 years, his passing was just three months earlier. Marianne was born June 3rd 1932 to Bill and Lola Brown in Spokane WA. She lived briefly in San Francisco, California, while living there she met Walt De Witt. Upon returning to Spokane they married in 1950. Marianne was a kind, strong, loving person. She will be truly missed by her family and many many friends to whom she valued very much. She was passionate about many things but particularly her faith, family, friends and her animals. She was a member of Opportunity Christian Fellowship Church. She made all feel welcome in her home. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking and preparing holiday and birthday celebrations with family. She was always supportive and participated in her grandchildren and great-grandchildrens sporting events. Marianne found her greatest contentment in her flower garden and yard growing beautiful roses, dahlias and all kinds of flowers. Her yard was always manicured and looked like a park. She took much pride in her hard work. She was a member of a senior bowling league forming many lifelong relationships. In addition to several nieces and nephews Marianne is survived by children: Janie Stark (Ron), Billy De Witt (Teri) and Debbie Michielli (Dan); grandchildren: Marni Sams, Tim Stark, Dan Michielli Jr, Derek Michielli and Jeff Aaseby; great-grandchildren: Cori Michielli, Dustin Fedak, Lily Fedak, Russell Neal, Abby Aaseby, Timmy Stark and Haley Stark. A celebration of her life is planned at a later date, however, memorial donations may be made to:
