COLE, Michael Lloyd
(Age 59)
Passed away unexpectedly in his favorite place, his garage, on November 3, 2012. Michael was born on July 31, 1953 in Spokane, WA to the late Lloyd and Pearl Cole. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debbie (Wahl) Cole; three children, Heather Tomsha and her husband Vince of Spokane, Jaime Ingram and her husband Bob of Spokane Valley, Michael P. Cole of Spokane, and his little buddy Roscoe (his little Shih-tzu puppy) of Chattaroy; ten grandchildren; Evan, Laine, Hannah, Jacob and Emma; Aalana, Tyler, Hallee and Brooklyn, and Gunnar Cole; his two sisters, Bonnie Jones and her husband Jim of Colville, and Barbara Cressey and her husband Bill of Spangle. Mike had a real zest for life. He lived his life to the fullest. Mike was very compassionate and was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Grandpa Mike spent a lot of his time doing fun things with his family; camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing, Harley riding, four wheeling. The list is endless. He had a great love for the outdoors. The moose, deer, turkeys, quail, and many other critters are all going to miss his daily hand feedings, which he loved to do. Mike worked as a diesel mechanic for Greyhound, for 15 years, Northwestern Stage Lines for three years, then moved on to STA for 15 more years, where he took a disability retirement in 2008. Mike spent the last five years at home with his loving wife and family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be on Friday, November 9th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, November 10th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm, Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley, Spokane WA.

Hi Dad,
Happy Birthday!! Days without you just don't seem to get any easier. You were taken too soon, something I will never understand. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you and wish we had just one more. One more hug, one more story, one more camping trip, one more fishing trip, one more walk, just one more day! I would give anything to have you here with us. I hope that we are making you proud. Thank you for always watching over us. I hope we all get to see you again some day. Hope you're celebrating today. I love you Dad?

Really missing my grandpa on this gorgeous Easter morning. One of my favorite things about Easter was going out to grandma and grandpa's house and having a big egg hunt. Just the presence of my family put me in the best mood. I love you.

Mikie, it's been a year already.....unbelievable. I miss you and Momma and Daddy so very much. We have so many memories together. I remember playing hide-n-seek for hours until Dad gave us the whistle to come in,"gettin ' too dark" he'd say. And our marathon monopoly games! You always had a pile of $500.'s hidden somewhere and I totally know you cheated! I remember our family gatherings being some of the best memories ever! Especially our Christmases, summers at the property and our musical gatherings. There are just certain things that will always remind me of you including ; emergency rooms, acrobatics and chipped front teeth, comic books, chocolate milk, dog houses and hand cuffs, tree climbing, awesome snow forts, jumping in huge piles of leaves, tattling, the name 'Milton', bruises, bare feet and cut-offs, The Longhorn BBQ, tickling till you pee your pants, riding horses, snow skiing and the list goes on and on. The best thing you ever did was marry Deb....good call.:-) You were a wonderful husband ( as far as i know) ha-ha ! A great Daddy and grandpa, the best !I will love you forever and ever big brother and and I'll see you again ! Until then try to behave and kiss Mom and Dad for me. Love, Sis
