Jack, sorry to hear about your Dad. His looks hadn't changed much from how I remember him. We lived a few housed away from each other on South Street in Northampton and went to school together, but you were much smarter than I. I remember your white house, next Carter Roukey's. It's hard to believe we are now the older generation. You had your Dad for a long time as did I. When you visited him in E.Long, I was nearby living in Longmeadow for 38 years. Small world. I hope the memories people have of your Dad help ease your pain.

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extends our deepest sympathies to the family of Ralph L. Shindler for your loss. We honor him for the service and sacrifice he has made for our nation, he is a true hero.
