I have so many fond memories of Randy growing up. His family, his Grandpa and Grandma Forney, Shelly and I spent a lot of time camping and fishing at Waitts Lake. Randy was always the ringleader, Jim the negotiator and Shelly was along for the ride.
I am very sad for Randy's family, that his life was cut so short. I pray that he can now rest in peace and that the family can soon replace the grief with their special memories of their father, grandfather, brother, cousin and nephew. We all loved him.

Dear Taylor and to your siblings and family members. I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I know what a rough road grief can be. I am sure that your daddy was so grateful that you were with him until the very end. My your love and memories carry you through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences at the loss of a father and grandfather. I was a teammate of Randy's at LC and, obviously, have lost track of him over the years but have good memories of our brief friendship. His passing has given me cause to think about how one's life takes different turns and, frankly, I feel bad for not keeping in touch with Randy in almost 30 years.
I will be out of town this weekend but please let the kids know that their dad was a good guy way back when and could play a little basketball, too. We got into more than a few shenanigans together and then life took us in different directions.
May he find peace in his resting place.
