I spent a lot of time at EWU and had many profs pursuing dual degrees - one in journalism and another in education - and multiple majors. Dick was one of my all-time BEST and favorite instructors there. He imparted on us "from the trenches" expertise down at the old Great Western Building.

My Dad Hap Wright, my former husband Don McKeehen, and I all worked with Dick at KREM so very many years ago. He was an incredibly competent News Director, memorable personality, and good friend. My sympathies to his family.
