So sad to hear about the passing of my dear friend SueEllen. I was the Program Manager at SAS for ten years. SueEllen and I worked together to offer a professional, top notch art program to the Spokane community. Condolence and sympathy to her family.

My heart goes out to the family. Sue Ellen and I were pretty much at the Spokane Art School at the same time. We had our laughs. She had a dry sense of humor and had the ability to talk with anyone. Hugs

Oh, Sue Ellen. Gary and I remember you fondly and send your mother our sympathy.

Humble, caring and professional best describes Sue Ellen in my mind. She never spent time talking about herself or her extensive knowledge of fine art. She spent an unselfish amount of time caring for her parents, and professionally, she served as secretary of the Woodstock Farm Park Conservancy Board for 8 years.
Sue Ellen and I shared a friendship based on the love of Bernese Mountain Dogs, gardens and a few glasses of fine wines. Rest in Peace

I attended Fairhaven College in Bellingham with Sue Ellen. We were both first year college students and lived in a dormitory. My room was across the hall from Sue Ellen and I have very fond memories of hanging out in her room with friends and watching Sue Ellen knit or weave or play her guitar. I'm very sorry to hear of her death and will be thinking of her and our many friends this day. Beth
