Dear Westbrook Family,
Tom and I first crossed paths in 1969 and continued to do so at weddings, funerals, and in support of various social justice issues for the next 45 years. He is one of the only people I've known who did not leave a legacy. He "lived" his legacy daily with you so you would have no torch to pick up and follow him. He left it firmly in your hands while he was still living! My heart is with you in the coming days as you adjust to life without him. Sincerely,
Paddy Inman

Tom was the epitome of what a father and friend might aspire to be. One always felt special and part of 'the family' when talking with him. He will be missed, and both the religious and secular leaders in our community benefited with his guidance and love.
Best high regards, John/Gus

I am blessed to have been a friend of Tom Westbrook, and there are probably only 200,000 or so who can claim that privilege. He was a dear and talented man who had a far-reaching impact on those of us lucky enough to have known him. My condolences to the family.
