To Jan and Chuck and your families: This is from Karen Ornee (Keevy). Since I have moved back to Spokane, I saw the notice in the Spokane paper. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I have such fond memories of our friendship and all the wonderful times your Mom and Dad were so generous and welcoming. So many times we were able to go water skiing on beautiful summer days at Long Lake. Our parents became good friends and Mom especially loved going out to lunch with Vi. My friendship with you Jan was so special to me - - remember lunch at the Crescent, planning for weddings, and going places in your convertible. I remember your Dad always smiling, lots of energy and making time for us. It was evident that he was a man who loved God and lived with integrity. I wish I could attend the memorial to celebrate his life but will be with you in my thoughts and prayers. His was a long life well lived with a lasting impact on those who knew him. It's been a long time since we have been in touch but I think of you often. My address is 4112 E. Center Rd, Mead, WA 99021. Would love to reconnect with you. May God comfort and bless you.
