May God bless your family during this time he will be missed
My sincere condolences to the Hood family. I had the great pleasure of knowing and working with Jim during my early years as Social Worker in Detroit and later when he served as Deputy Chief for the Detroit Police Dept. He was always a gentleman, with the emphasis on "gentle". He will be sorely missed.
My deepest sympathy to Jims family. I chaired the Fire Science Advisory Board at Madison Area Technical College when Jim was our Associate Dean. He was a true American hero who showed a courage and strength that few of us will ever be tested to do. It was an honor and a privilege to work with him.
May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
Wishing you Peace in God's Promise
"And if I go and prepare a place for you,I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am"
John 14:3
My sincere condolence for the loss of James your dear loved one. May your fond memories of him bring much comfort. Peace and love to your family and friends, and to the spirit you show. bjluv333@comcast.net
We keep getting glimpses of history. Mr. Hood was walking in history and stands as a legacy of a people who struggled. It is important that we continue to see those issues that call us to action. Bless Mr. Hood and bless his family as they grieve.
May you rest in the Peace of the Lord, my friend. Jim and I became friends in Detroit and at Michigan State and later reunited in Foster Auditorium at one of my daughters UA vollyball games there. Jim shared his many stories about his life adventures and plans. I am proud and honored to have had him as a friend in this world. My prayers and sympathies go to Jim and his family.
