As a young E-3 who had recently joined the 178TFG and my original meeting of Gen Cochran, the intimidation far surpassed any from my past. The fear dissipated after finding out he was your father, Chris. Anyone who could produce a man such as yourself with your kindness, patience and willingness to help, no matter how many times I asked the same question about ZULU time, you must've learned those attributes from him. Not knowing your other siblings, there is no doubt they, too, were taught the same patience and professionalism. I thank your dad for adding a few more outstanding souls so his memory will live on through his children. There is no doubt your mom had some input as well with four boys going in four directions, and is grieving for her lifemate of over 60 years. My sympathies to your entire family and friends, Chris. You'll grieve the remainder of your lives...which is good. That means your dad will be remembered for many lifetimes.
