What a very sad loss to wife Eleanor and Family..Met Bruce some 30 yrs. ago after moving to Tampa from the Midwest to USF..Such a neat and warm and engaging person with a great sense of humor..The boat trips, of course were awesome.
Yes, Bruce was a great, great individual..Was especially sadened to hear of his recent health ordeals that he experienced...God Bless Him!

Mr. Guetzloe was my Biology teacher back in 1980 at Seminole High School. I remember his class because of his warm personality and smile. He was always in a good mood, and it was a pleasure to be in his classroom. At the time, I was unaware of his status as a retired Marine Corps aviator of two wars. Wow, what an honor it was to have this real life hero as my teacher. He was truly a man to be admired, both as a veteran and educator. I am greatful to have had him in my life and I know that he will be missed.

Mr. Guetzloe was one of my school teachers many years ago. I will never forget him, his love for teaching, and his sense of humor. He left a lasting impression upon my life. I had no idea he was a decorated WWII veteran, funny how I became a history major at USF with WWII as my focus. My prayers for the family in his passing, he was a wonderful man.

Thinking of you in your time of loss. I know that grief is difficult, but it will pass and be replaced with wonderful memories.
