David, I want to thank you for your hard work and dedication, for protecting and serving the people. The love that you had for your job is very much noticed and appreciated by many. God Bless Officer Crawford's family. Thank you for sharing him with the St. Petersburg community for the last 25 years. I am eternally grateful to him and all the police officers of Pinellas County. They put their life on the line everyday to protect us. My heart and prayers are with your family. David Crawford is a true hero! God Bless and keep you all.

Dear David's family I'm deeply sorry for you're loss and from what I've seen the loss of a great fellow Law Enforcement Officer I'm a fellow LEO and survivor and I'm going to tell you this is no time to be a hero your husband did that so take a deep breath and take all the help fellow officers and there family's are offering this will be hard to do but look at it like this you will help others heal as much as yourself we are all here for you and your family please use us no matter what it is from dinners to mowing the lawn anything at all we want to be used I thank David for his dedication and passion much love to you and your family sincerely Phil Ind

"From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Dave gave his all and he will rewarded in Heaven. To Dave's family and to the law enforcement family if you believe in a higher calling, then you would understand that Dave has been promoted to a new position as one of God's chosen protector of the Kingdom, a new angle in Heaven. There is a new badge in the sky, a new shining star that you can look up every night and know that Dave's on the job. May God bless and keep everyone of you in Jesus name I pray
