Don was such a great man and father. I personally will miss him so much. He always made me smile and laugh. His family has so many wonderful memories to cherish. Rest in peace Don, I'm gonna miss you.

Dear Aunt Ronnie, We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Don. He was such a joy to be around. He always had an especially kind word to say to us. You and his children are in our prayers. With love, Cindy and Joe

Yesterday was a very sad day for me. I lost my friend, my companion, my inspiration and one of the biggest parts of my life. On January 14th 2013, I lost my Daddy.
He was a very strong individual. I was taught through his actions to treat people the way I would like to be treated. He lived his life everyday with dignity and righteousness. Warm fuzzies weren't his strong point. His life was full of wonderful people and we all loved and respected him. Altough he wasn't one to candy coat things, he was one of the fairest indivduals I have ever known.
I hated to disappoint him and I am sure there were many times I did, but I never for one moment thought he didn't love me.
The last few years of his life , we did so many little things together. We had a comfort level between us that always made me feel safe and I in turn tried to reciprocate. We shared our fears, our dreams and our love for life. When all else fails, he would tell me a joke and make me laugh and all would be okay.
I was honored to be Don Cameron's daughter and I hope he was proud of me.
At the end of the day, I have cried so so so many tears. Tears of joy and sadness.
My Dad has now gone to join my Mother and I know that he is free from all the coldness this Earth has. Now he is at peace and soon I will be as well.
The Greater the person, the harder the loss. Donald W Cameron was the greatest man I have ever known. I was lucky enough to have him as my Father and for that I am grateful. Saying I will miss him is an understatement. The void will be there for the rest of my natural life. Although I am very sad and truly grieving now, I know that I am one of the luckiest women in the world! Why? I had Donald and Maggie Cameron as my parents. Mom will take care of you now Dad. I will miss you dearly, but I know you are in good hands! RIP my dear Father. Thank you for making me what I am today. All my heart and soul!
Margaret
