I always looked forward to seeing his paintings of special moments of the athletes, animals and spectators at the sporting events he attended. He blessed us with his talent. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten as his works of Art and Joy remain with us. Thank You Mr. Neiman and The Neiman Family.

Andrew Leventis, Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia, soon to be back home in Greenville, South Carolina.

I first saw LeRoy's art back in the sixties. I was amazed and inspired. LeRoy Neiman's creative and passionate paintings kept me on the path of becoming an artist. We never met but he has always been present in spirit each time i picked up my brushes. LeRoy's parting shocked me and hurt my heart. I know that his studio is now flooded with Divine Light. My prayers are with his family and the spirit of LeRoy's genius will be with me all of my life.

i met Leroy while on assignment for the New York Times-i was drawing Muhammad Ali at Madison Square Garden..i was a terrified kid in the presence of this Master.he wrote me a letter, which i stll have-telling me how much he liked my art-it was the first of many opportunities to have Leroy in my life-in some 40 blessed years of enjoying both his friendship and his absolutely genius art, Leroy was always kind, funny, and full of life.. to watch him at work was pure joy... Love and Respect,Leroy-the world just lost a lot of color...always, Steve
