CLAYTON, Lloyd J. "Poppy" of Largo passed away Dec. 23, 2012 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System. Raised in Union Beach, NJ, he worked in his father's boat building business, J.V. Clayton Boat Works. He honorably served for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard. He moved his family in 1972 and was employed by Gulf Star Yachts in St. Petersburg. He is survived by his lovely, loving wife of 48 years, Joan; son, Lloyd Jr. and his son, Ty; daughter, Joey Lynn and her children, Briana & Chase; and a great-grandson, Khymani.
