To the Peck and Brown families (for which I am a part), I send my deepest condolences. Rose was a trend setter and trail blazer. She taught others how to prepare for death in a dignified way and I'm sure she applied these teachings to her self. She leaves us all with a positive model on how life is to be lived, enjoyed and let go of. Rose thanks and reast peacefully.

To my Aunt Rose,

I will always love you, cherish every moment and every journey that God sends me in the direction of positiveness, for you are a blessing and you shall not be forgotten.

Love, your nephew,

Janice, and family: God has beckoned her with outstretched hands, and whispered softly of an unknown land, she was not afraid to go, for though the path she did not know, she took God's hand without a fear, for He who safely brought her here, will also take her safely back, never fret nor fear for God is always near.

You were one of the pilars of this community when it was not cool for a black woman in this town to achieve a position of worth. Rest in Peace.
