It was my great privilege to have met and gotten to know Sid Bernstein over the last few decades. From book signing events to Beatlefests to sing-alongs at Strawberry Fields to concerts by numerous artists, some famous and some not, I would frequently see Sid. Whenever he saw me, his face would light up. At one show, he even asked his assistant to bring him closer to me. Needles to say, I was flattered. He was arguably one of the most important manager/ promoters in the history of popular music, and yet he was also one of the sweetest , kindest people that you would ever meet in your life. I would say that that is an extremely rare combination of traits to be found within the same individual.

We had the honor of seeing Sid at the Fest for Beatles Fans in Chicago. He could not have been more gracious. What came across was his affection for the Beatles and all the other artists he represented. The audience listened with respectful silence as he told stories that were filled with reverence and love. He will be missed but the memories of his visit will live on. Rest In Peace Mr. Bernstein.

Thank you isn't enough; you changed my life. I was 16 and had just lost my mother. If it weren't for the Beatles and people like you I never would have made it through that time.

I met Sid Bernstein at the NJ Beatles fest 8 or 9 years ago. He couldn't have been more pleasant. It was a thrill to meet the man who brought The Beatles to Shea back in 1965, especially since I was lucky enough to attend that historic concert. Thank you for your vision Mr. Bernstein, and may you rest in peace.

Sid was always a positive force. I am so glad that I got to know him and so honored that I could call him my friend. I will miss you and our chats. You are one special human being and you will be missed! I love you Sid.

Sid Bernstein, I first met you through the publicist you hired for that historical Beatles tour, Charlie Comer. To witness you two giants talk biz of how you two were able to survive extraordinary circumstances was amazing to hear. According to Charlie, I looked like a deer caught in the headlights! You taught the hustle and bustle, cut-throat world of music how to maintain one's dignity, respect for others, respect for self, never lose focus of family, keep having fun! You shared your heart so easily. What a gift. We are all blessed because of you teaching us to always enjoy the moment. Blessings to your beautiful, loving family.
