You have been my mum for 71 years. From the time when you made that Christmas costume out of hessian bags when I was a Mepunga East school to a few weeks ago when I held your hand and we watched some tv. That's a long wonderful time. I knew the day would come but hoped it never would. But you are with dad now and that's all you really wanted. Lois and I will carry on. I miss looking on that lovely face, watching the smile that said I love you, and putting my arms around those tiny, shoulders.
Rest well mum - love you
Ian

We knew this time would come, Mum
When we would have to say goodbye
Our hearts are filled with sadness
But memories will never die
Rest peacefully with Dad
In a place beautiful and nice
A place called, paradise xx

Your loving daughter
Lois and family
