Thinking of you Jim. You were a good shipmate. Condolences to Maureen and Family

I am thinking of you mate. We had some good, interesting and funny times in the Boiler Room on DE's.You were the consummate professional in everything you did. Us younger 'killicks' and PO's learnt a lot from you. Mate, you've now got the First and Last Dog watches forever. May your boilers remain connected, your water levels stay at 2/3 of a glass, your 'unloaders' never lift, maintain 550 PSI, your feed water never be 'rotten' and your funnel continue to emit a light brown haze. My kind regards and thoughts to Maureen and family. Stevan Coll, OAM, CPO (Rtd)

LANE James Edward OAM In 1962 a handsome nineteen year old sailor came into my life. We were then blessed with 3 wonderful children and six grandchildren. Thank you for all the things we shared together over nearly 55 years and looking after me. Sleep peacefully my darling, one day we will be together again. I love you, - Maureen. //* To our beloved dad, Memories will be forever in our hearts. Thank you for everything..... We will miss you! Love, - Edward and Jess. //* To our dearest Father, Poppy and DDFIL, There are truly no words to express how we feel about you passing. You were a true battler in every sense of the word - fighting long and hard until the very end. We love you, miss you terribly but will treasure the countless memories. Fair winds and following seas on your trip 'up top'. Your loving number 2 son Bevin, DDDIL Nicki and adoring granddaughters Jessica and Georgia. //* The waters are calm The sky is blue Not a day will go by When I won't think of you Rest well Dad Love, - Rosemary. //* Poppy, When someone you love becomes a memory That memory becomes a treasure. You will be missed Forever in our hearts - Melissa and Michael //* To my Poppy, I'm very sad that you have died. You were the greatest Poppy anyone could ever have had. Thank you for fighting in the war. You have worked so hard and now you can rest peacefully. Love, - Orlando
