Bruce Shutts Obituary
Age 63, of Erin, NY, passed away at home on Friday, January 2, 2015 after an extended illness. He was born in Biloxi, MS on January 5, 1951 to the late James L. and Barbara (Gilroy) Shutts. Bruce is survived by his sons, Michael (Victoria), Steven (Melody), Paul (Elizabeth) and James (Alicia) Shutts; daughters, Felicity (David) Laudato, Cecilia (Derek) Riffle and Adelle (Rich) Leise; brother, James Shutts; sisters, Karen (Jerry) Mallow, Paula Bradley and Christine Elliott; many grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Bruce was an excellent chef and everybody loved to eat whatever he was making. He enjoyed hiking and biking especially while he was living in Arizona and he also enjoyed watching classic movies. It was Bruce's wish that all services be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.

How well I remember the Shutts family growing up on Pennsylvania Ave in Elmira ny . Paula was a friend I grew up with and her mom Barbara was a good friend of my mother Mary. Fond memories and had a crush on Bruce growing up Just heard of his passing am so sorry for this loss Thoughts and prayers to the family
