I haven't seen Skipper in a few years, but he will never be forgotten. We go back to the days on Lant's Farm. He used to impress my sons with his "muscle man" poses. He was a great worker and friend. Condolences to the family

We have only known Skip for a little over a year through Karaoke on Tuesdays at Punk's Place in Candor. In that time we came to truly appreciate his love of people and music. He rarely missed a Tuesday and when he did we would get a call or message from him expressing his regret. Skip so enjoyed singing and listening to others. We will miss his gentle smile, his voice, and more than anything his caring heart. To Skips family and friends our sincere condolences. We are proud to have known you Skip if only for a little while. In the words of Hank Williams Sr., "Praise the Lord, I saw the Light".

I have known Skipper most of my life. He visited the house several times when my wife was losing the battle she fought with cancer. He was a very caring person. I am still in shock as I would see him often @ the Legion. He was comfortable there and had rekindled relationships from long ago. RIP my friend
