They say a man's life after he has departed can be judged by the love and loyalty demonstrated by his immediate family both during and after he has passed on. Judging by the love and loyalty demonstrated by John's family during his life time and especially in his last days and immediately following his departure; it is obvious that John's life was very rewarding and successful. His family cherished his presence because he earned it through his interactions with them. Mary, Theresa, Steve, Pauline and their spouses made his last days quite pleasant. Of course sorrow sets in with the death of a loved one. But John had a strong family and they will help each other through the grief and the immediate pain. In time the grief will fade into pleasant cherished memories of moments spent with John and the grief will diminish. John may you rest in peace knowing that your life was a success and that you left a lasting impression by your presence. You certainly were loved very much by your family and it was always evident that you loved them very much also. As it is said "life does not last forever but love does". And "the love lives on".
