Greg, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I will never forget back in the day....of high school baseball and Legion ball watching all of you play and your dad always there cheering you on. I am thinking only positive thoughts for you and your family.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of such a great man and as I sit here reading all of these wonderful comments about Pete a lot of memories come to my head as well. Although he gave us caregivers a hard time he had a soft spot for us deep down inside. I met Pete at the hospital and continued to help care for him when he went home and became part of the family. Even know we had our moments he became like a father to me as well and I will be forever grateful he and his family entered my life. I'm so glad to know there is so much love and support for the family to get through this tough time. I love you all and will continue to keep you in my thoughts.

We remember good times at old HHS Class of '59. Pete and Mike were always good for a laugh. Condolences to Mike and family.

While we only got to know Pete first-hand in more recent years, we've heard numerous stories from both of our parents (Walt and Eva) that make it feel like we knew him for much longer. Even when he was challenged by his health, you were always guaranteed funny, engaging conversation, often thanks to Pete's wit and willingness to tell it like he saw it.

Though it ended sooner than we'd like, we feel fortunate that our parents had so many years of fulfilling friendship with Pete and are happy that we experienced several of them ourselves. He was a unique character and we genuinely enjoyed knowing him and spending time with him.

Best Regards,

Mike and Ryan Berlin (in Canada)

Another hall of famer in HHS history. Driscoll's were part of growing up in HHS. Very close to my dad. I believe Pete and Mary Kay were my sister, suzy's God parents. Pete also recruited her to pay for beef's instead of Rosar's. Thanks for the memories, RIP.

Although it's been years since I've played HHS baseball with Pete I think often of him and brother Mike. Many good times---RIP old buddy, We'll have a scotch togather one of these days.

I am not sure as tho this is the right place to put this, but hopefully you are looking down and seeing how many peoples lives you touched! So i have been trying to figure out why after being awake for 43 hours my body will not shut down and just fall a sleep. Your mass is in 3 hours and i have a 9 hr drive after but my brain just will not stop, so many flash backs and memories. Then i think i hit an epiphany and maybe i can rest easy now. I was thinking about all the times i got messages over the last several years that said pray for Pete, and i know everyone always did. But this time was different, no time for a message and it was unexpected. Which has brought me to the conclusion god wants us to continue to pray when people need it. Your time had come and god did not want to disappoint us which is why i believe there was no time to send the message to pray for Pete. Your suffering is over and our prayers will continue to help those in need & every time i hug Gregg there will be an extra squeeze for you.
Much love!

Pete and I worked at Corning Inc. Security together for 14 years. He usually relieved me in the mornings. He always had neat things to say. Pete will be missed.

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss.
