Lanterman, Maxine (MacNeal)
Lowman: Maxine (MacNeal) Lanterman, 70, of Lowman, NY, left this life and entered into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from the Chemung County Nursing Center. She was the loving wife of Larry G. Lanterman, and the couple had 35 years together. Maxine was born on April 4, 1943 in Sayre, PA, daughter of the late Floyd and Cora MacNeal. She was a Sayre High School graduate and worked for 36 years for Chemung Canal Bank. She was a member of the Chemung Christian Fellowship, was a past Sunday School teacher, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Maxine is survived by her husband, Larry; her sons, Patrick (Andi) MacNeal of Nicholasville, KY and Jesse Lanterman and companion Carol of Lake Haven, FL; her daughter, Julie Lanterman of Wellsboro, PA; seven grandchildren; her brother, Charles (Lynn) MacNeal of Nicholasville, KY; along with several nieces and nephews. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother. Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at the Roberts Funeral Home, Inc., 279 Main St., Wellsburg, NY. The funeral service to honor Maxine's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1st, at the funeral home with her pastor, Rev. Randy Stilson, officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of his family in Riverside Cemetery.
