I was Bill's boyhood friend and lived down the way on Camden Ave. He was my oldest friend and I tried to keep in touch now and then over the years. I was shocked to read the announcement tonight as I "googled," his name. He lost hid Dad at a young age, and mine was rarely home. We were pals through and through. We had more fun at
Roy's Dairy than any two boys could have. One special memory was our friends, George Carlisle, Gerber Baby, the Blys, and more. One time, a hatchet fell from our tree house and stuck in Gerber Baby's head. We took him to our house, walked in, and said, "Mom, Gerber Baby has a hatchet in his head." She turned and nearly fainted.

May God comfort and bless his loved ones. I will see him in Heaven and the New Earth. so long for now, old friend . Your old buddy, Bob Rice

Angela and Suzanne, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your family lived downstairs from my family for a long time. It is a hard thing to lose your parent. My ex-husband, Bill Winton, passed away about 2 weeks ago also. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bill and I spent a lot of time together in years past. Many days sitting at my kitchen table drinking tea! There were many conversations about the day we would meet the Lord. There's no doubt in my mind that Bill is talking to Jesus about the bible, because he knew and believed every word of it. I'll miss you Bill. Rest in peace.

So sad to hear this news...We were Bill's neighbor for about 5 years. He was a great neighbor, saved our Mastiff from drowning in our pool when she fell in. Thoughts and prayers to his family. May he rest in peace.
