Cathy,
My thoughts and prayers are with you in the lost of your precious son.
September 11, 2006
My heart goes out to the Andino family for the loss of Edwin. I lost my son on July 22, 2006. Our Adam (CPL) was a medic assigned to the 101st ABN DIV (ASSLT) He was killed in Baghdad by an IED. We live in Ruckersville and Adam is buried in Culpeper National Cemetary. I know there are no words that can really comfort you, but just know there is someone who knows how you feel very close by. Please e-mail if you find the need. Maybe at some point in the future we can talk on the phone. We appreciate your son's service and sacrifice, more than most. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Well E.J. I don't konw what to say. You will be missed. Your were like a younger brother to me. You were a person that can't be described in words. The time we had will always be charished. I still have our old recordings. I can pop in the tapes and hear you play that guitar when ever I want. And I can still hear you laugh. Thank you for being a best friend to me. I bid you farewell for my son, he will miss his "Uncle PJ". I hope that life was all you dreamt it to be. Goodnight my friend...Until we met again.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. We will be always grateful for the sacrifice that your Soldier made. God bless you and your family with comfort and peace. We will not forget.

EJ, I will always remember you, that grin of yours I loved so much and the bear hugs you gave me. the first time we met at work and how far you came and grew from that crazy 18 year old. When you got your first " man job", sitting around ruby's after work having a good time. When you came home on leave spending time with you and Jenn giving out my motherly advice! I am so proud of you. I wish you could have lived a long life. I know you did what you wanted to. I know that you are now a soldier in heaven, watching over those you loved. This world has lost a great young man. Thank you for your sacrafice to your Country.

With My Love Always,

Missy

My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family of Pvt. Edwin A. Andino, with a multitude of Thanks for this Young Hero's Courage, Service and Dedication to our Country and for Freedom.
Rest Safely Edwin Andino, in God's Mighty Hands and know that you shall NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
May God's Loving Grace and Comfort be with the Andino family.
I am the Sister of such a young hero, who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in Vietnam, many years ago.

For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 Corinthians 5:1

With each new day, may the Lord restore your soul and, through His love, give you the strength to go on.
Softly and slowly...
Time heals...
