ALBERT ENTWISTLE Obituary

Albert E. Entwistle Jr. Livingston husband and father of seven, Asbestos Workers member and Knights of Columbus grand knight, 77 Albert E. Entwistle Jr., 77, passed away Thursday at his residence in Livingston, N.J., surrounded by his loving family. They will receive relatives and friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. The Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena's Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, N.J., on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by the committal service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in West Orange, N.J., Albert had lived in Livingston for many years. He was an insulator for Asbestos Workers Local No. 32 for many years, retiring in 1994. A member of St. Philomena's Church, Albert served as an usher and Eucharistic minister, and was an active volunteer. He was also a volunteer at St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark, N.J., and was an avid golfer. A member of the Livingston Knights of Columbus, he was a past grand knight. Predeceased by his son, Albert E. III, and sister, Barbara, he is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Savage); his devoted children, Robert and wife, Betty; Richard; Linda Julian and husband, Rob; Lori Cunningham and husband, Jim; Michael and wife, Cheryl, and Patti Franchino and husband, Michael, and is also survived by his 15 loving grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katie, Clare, Grace, Matthew, Michelle, Melissa, Jimmy, John, Jean, Christopher, Kelly, Tommy, Michael Patrick and Ayden. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 200147, Newark, N.J. 07102.
