Alice Casella Obituary
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, June 24, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, N.J. 08755. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Cremation will be private. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.quinn-hoppingfh.com.
Born in Glen Ridge, N.J., Alice lived her entire life in Bloomfield, N.J., before moving to Toms River two years ago.
She retired as a special education teacher at the Felician School in Lodi, N.J.
Alice was also was a very talented artist, specializing in sketches and watercolors.
She was the past president of the Bloomfield Art League and formerly taught CCD at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Bloomfield.
Alice is survived by her husband of 38 years, Carl Casella, and her daughter, Corinne and her fiance, Jason West. She is also survived by Joseph and Nicole Mascuch, and her granddaughter, Emma.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.

Carl and Corey, No words can express the deep sorrow I feel for the loss of your wife and mother. She has been my cherished friend for many years. We will all miss her so, but she will be forever in our hearts. Corey, I know that your mother adored Jason and was so looking forward to the wedding this weekend. She will not be able to be there in person now, but she will "absolutely" be there in spirit.
