Anne Peterpaul Sister, aunt, great-aunt, 85 Anne Peterpaul (nee Nicola), 85, of Hillsborough, N.J., passed away on June 17, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, N.J. The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206 South, Hillsborough. Interment will be on Friday, June 23, at 11 a.m. at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, N.J. Anne was born in Newark, N.J., on April 12, 1932. She was a graduate of Central High School in Newark. She worked as a secretary until her marriage to Joseph Peterpaul, the love of her life, in June of 1955. The couple were inseparable until his death in 1996. They resided in West Orange, N.J., until moving to Hillsborough in 1984. Anne was a chic and sophisticated lady who enjoyed "one-stop shopping" at Lord and Taylor. She enjoyed traveling, domestically and abroad, with her husband, and loved attending museums, plays, and concerts. Anne was an avid fan of the singer Tom Jones, once even eluding concert security to run on stage. She loved hosting family dinners in her Hillsborough home, and passed on the family tradition of baking zelnik to her nieces and great-nieces. She enjoyed early morning walks and was an enthusiastic baseball fan. Anne was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Peterpaul, and her siblings, Dimitry, Angelina Villota, Alexander, and Elena Kabrovich. She is survived by her brother, Gabriel, of Parlin, N.J., and eight nieces and nephews; Dimitry's children, Sue, Sandra, and Ken; Alexander's son, Ronald, and Elena's children, Tom, Mary, Christina, and John. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
