I was so very sorry the hear of the loss of your beloved husband, Barry. I remember many wonderful stories you shared with me about him over the years of commuting together on the bus from New York. Please accept my deepest condolences to you and all the family. May his name be for a blessing. Please know that I am here for you. With Love and Sympathy, Stephanie Rudy

To the family of Mr. Sjo-Gaber,

I am terribly saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Sjo-Gaber, who was my seventh grade science teacher in Pompton Lakes at Lakeside Middle School before I moved from town. It goes without saying that the world has lost a wonderful person in him and that my sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you during this time.

I was one of his shyer and quieter students but I fondly remember special times he shared with us in his classroom. He was usually a very soft-spoken teacher; I remember how nice it felt to listen to his lectures, taking a deep breath through his nose every once in awhile and smiled before he moved onto the next subject. Mr. Sjo-Gaber was fondly called "Mr. Sjo" by a few of his students as a nickname, giving them a way to connect with him on a more personally endearing level. He made science fun and interesting in different ways.

God Bless,

Matthew Brennan

Mr. Sjo-Baber was one the best teachers I ever had. One of my favoriet memories was from our 7th grade play that he directed. I cant say enough about Mr. Sjo-Gaber, he will be missed.
