Love you Uncle Woody.

I was out of town and was saddened to learn of Woody's passing. He was a wonderful man and neighbor on Deerfield Drive. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

At one of my Dad's birthday celebrations in New Providence, Uncle Woody, Shirl, and my Dad all talked about their time in WWII. I guess they were all stationed near one another even though they didn't know each other. It was a conversation I wish was video taped! Shirl was a doctor, my Dad was in Intelligence, and Uncle Woody a gunner. I remember thinking that Uncle Woody must have had an angel on his shoulder to make it through his position. We are all glad that he did and that he lived on for so many years.

Uncle Woody gave me many running pointers as we both shared that passion. He always looked so ageless! He had a great smile and great sense of humor.

~Uncle Woody and Aunt Ginny always looked so happy together. ~
