when broc married my sister, dolores, i thought to myself, who is this lecherous old man who is taking my sister away from the family. but as time went on, i saw my sister getting closer is age to broc and broc geting younger in age to dolores.
the fondest memories that i have about broc is how he made me see history in a different light. being a history teacher, he was able to make me see how history is important to us and helped me get better grades in my high school tests.
he also taught me the joys of drinking scotch and vino and because we lived so far apart, never got to spend enough time together.
but when we were together, i always enjoyed those times, especially when he let everyone know that the time for the end of the festivities had come to an end when he had his daughters play patriotic songs and carried the flag.
may the lord take and keep you until i pass and am able to finally spend more time with you.
love always, rick and gloria bucco
It was a joy to know and to share time together with Mr. Sbrocco. His infectious spirit and joy of life will be missed by all who knew him and especially me. We will all treasure the memory of a wonderful man who enjoyed life, love and friendship to the fullest. I always enjoyed his stories about his time in the army and life. Your friend, Antonio Miguez.
A big hug from my family and I to Mrs. Dolores Sbrocco and family.
Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with the Sbrocco family during this time of extreme loss. As a family, you remain the loving, living family legacy formulated by God and energetically stewarded by your beloved husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law.
Broc was the best father in law. His vast knowledge, intellect, curiosity and warmth made him a friend to all he met. His list of questions at the dinner table made for many great discussions . Love you. "May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest"
Sincere condolences goes out to the family during this time of loss. May you lean on GOD for strength, faith and comfort. Sorry for your loss.
Dear Mrs. Sbrocco,Vicki, Bunny, Genie and Edward, We are so very sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Mr. Sbrocco from my high school years. Your family has been a happy part of my life for so long! May he enjoy eternal life, happy and content in the Lord's presence. God Bless you all.
Dear Del and family, It was a great shock hearing from Vicki today with the sad news. There are so many memories we have with Broc in civilian and military life. It would be hard to list them all in this condolence note. He helped me many times in all the years that we were together in teaching and the military. All of us will remember Broc and his singing of his famous song HOBOKEN. He was the great guy and patriot. Today there are not many men left like him from the 2nd world war. God bless him and you and your family. We will all miss Broc. God Bless all our veterans and the USA. In bonds and fond memories, Dick and June
