I will always remember Hank and my father (Ronald Thompson) serving together on the Belleville Police Department. Such great childhood memories. My family stopped by for a surprise visit in Surf City years ago and Hank was more than happy to show off his Model A and other memorabilia. My children really enjoyed the visit (and ice cream)! We'll miss you. Best wishes to the family.

Ann and Family,
It was with a great sense of loss that I learned of Hank's death. May it comfort you to know that so many people care and are thinking of you and your family at this time. What started many years ago as a business relationship grew into a friendship. It was a privilege to have known Hank. I will never forget him.

Rest in peace Hank....proud to have served with you as a rookie at BPD. One of the old timer's who rubbed off on so many of us who were honored to call you friend and Brother.....
Hanky Panky, you were a big part of my childhood, and you will be fondly remembered, and greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. I can only hope that my Dad, (Sgt. Ronald E. Thompson)was there to meet you at the golden gates, so you can be partners once again. I still have the necklace that you gave to me 46 years ago, and it has always been so special to me. I will forever be thankful to you for teaching me how to dip my oreo cookie in milk when I was about 2-3 years old. Everytime I dip that cookie,
I think of you, I really do. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends, and the entire police force that had the honor of working with you. In Sympathy, Lauren C. Thompson and Family
My condolences to the Olivieri family and friends. Chief Olivieri was a Captain when I first became a Belleville Police Officer. On cold nights while walking the beat he would pick me up, take me for coffee and give me advice. On more than one occasion he even got me out of a little trouble (LOL) He was a good man and I respected him.Special condolences to Judy, whom I attended Belleville High School with James Del Grosso (Ret. Captain.Belleville Police)
Rest In Peace Mr Olivieri.....
Mike, Laura, and family, we were so sad to hear of the loss of your beloved father. May memories of the good times shared replace the heartache. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family---Chris and Robin Butler
My sincere condolences to the family of Hank on his passing. Hank was a friend and a good guy.
