Mary, You and Joe have been in my life since I came into this world 62 years ago. Joe has always been like a father to me. The warmth of your home always provided my brother and I an open door and a safe haven. I will cherish the memories and the love that both of you gave me along the way. I will always marvel at the strength of your marriage and love for one another. We will all miss him dearly. I love you, Joe....

To My Long-time "Buddy"--- March 15, 2014

Aww Joe, we're so sorry to lose ya!!

You and I began our musical travels in Hamilton junior high, then "Jeff" H.S. with you as a great trumpeter and vocalist extraordinaire with our "Buddy Dee Orchestra", playing all the Proms, dances and weddings for years. We had great times – and lots of laughs before, during, and after our "gigs" together!

After high school graduation, we each shortly pursued our musical talents with United States Army before you settled down to a full life with your beloved Mary and family, with you often speaking of your happiness.

It somehow seems fitting that as we now visit with you today and tomorrow that you are within 500 feet of the house at #8 Watson Avenue where we rehearsed our musical arrangements every Wednesday night for years--- where my dad acted as self-appointed driver in our station wagon to pick up and deliver the guys from their homes before we all got our drivers licenses.

Nothing can take away those wonderful memories-----

Joe, may God give you his richest blessings!

I'm going to miss ya' a whole bunch, my friend!! May your Rest in Peace!
