Mary Evans Reilly, 94, passed away on Feb. 9, 2012, at her home in Manchester, N.J. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, N.J. 08701. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church in Lakehurst, N.J. Interment will take place at Brigadier General William C. Mrs. Reilly was born and raised in East Orange, N.J., and moved to Long Valley, N.J., for 35 years before settling in Ocean County for the last 16 years. She was a secretary for the Silver Burdett and Ginn Publishing Company for many years. Mary served as the president for the business and professional women's club. She was an avid book collector and reader, loved to travel, and enjoyed playing Progressive Rummy with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Reilly was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; sister, Magdalene, and brothers, Richard and Francis. Mary is survived by her three sons, Thomas and his wife, Madeleine, of Houston, Texas, Michael and his wife, Vivian, of Lafayette, La., and Dennis and his wife, Christine, of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mary's memory to the American Cancer Society.

Mary and Tom were our neighbors for many years on Naughright Road. Seventy Eight will always be Mary and Tom's house. We'll miss her Christmas letters.
