Nancy J. Werkheiser Roselle Park school nurse, 74 Nancy J. Werkheiser, 74, of Pocono Pines, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, in the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Fla. There will be a visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Rd., Cresco, Pa. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, at the Salem United Church of Christ, 108 Church St., Pocono Pines, Pa. Please visit www.bolockfuneralhome.com for online condolences. Nancy worked in several nursing positions, the last being a school nurse for 25 years for the Roselle Park School District. She was the loving wife of Wesley W. Werkheiser.

Nancy was a very special colleague whom I considered a close confidante and friend. We had lunch together every day in the Aldene School library for many years, and we always openly shared our feelings on school issues as well as enjoying many laughs and personal stories. I missed those wonderful moments so much after we both retired.

I know that Our Heavenly Father has welcomed a new angel home, and I will keep her in my prayers in the hope that we will someday see other again.

Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I have fond memories of Nancy from the days we played bridge, made baskets and had fun times shopping , playing games and visiting Pa. My deepest sympathies to her husband, son and daughter and their spouses and children.
