Patty was probably one of the nicest and most caring people you would ever want to meet. She loved animals more than you could possibly imagine and she was deeply fond of and appreciative of Law Enforcement. She would always go out of her way to do whatever she could, whether it was saving Fantasy Sports magazines to the side, making a special sandwich or baking a fresh batch of cookies to go with coffee, or even just talking with any of us that went into the QC to visit her and say hello. Her eyes would really light up when any of us would walk in and she thoroughly enjoyed seeing and talking to all of us.
That was especially true with the members of MTPD and MPPD.
It would not be uncommon to see police cars from MTPD, MPPD and Human Services outnumber the cars of customers in the parking lot on any given night, while we were all gathered around the coffee section laughing it up with one another while all of us were specifically there to visit Patty.
Quick Chek was never safer.

She bravely battled this terrible disease for almost 4 years, but always kept a positive outlook and even managed to work for almost a year while receiving chemo and radiation treatments that she purposely scheduled on her days off because she was so sick after, it kept her in bed for 2-3 days. She will be sorely missed by all, especially those who were really close to her. Rest in Peace.

I'm sad to hear about your passing. You were always so kind and friendly to me. You made me feel as if I made a difference at my job at quick chek. I know you are in a better place , and have no more pain. RIP my dear friend. Judie
