Douglas J. Milway
Sandoz retiree, loving uncle, Mass is on Friday
Douglas J. Milway passed away on Feb. 5, 2019, at his home in Brick, N.J.
Doug was born on March 3, 1940, in Orange, N.J., to James T. Milway and Helen Driscoll. He grew up in West Orange, N.J., attending Fairmount Avenue School. He worked for Sandoz in East Hanover, N.J., as a materials handler for 20-plus years.
He had many friends and enjoyed traveling and his time living on West Point Island in Lavallette, N.J. While never married, he was active in the lives of his four nieces and nephew.
He is survived by his brother James T. Milway Jr. and spouse Maryjane Hayde, and their children, Laura, Colleen, Timothy, Kerry and Jennifer. Doug was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Milway and his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, N.J. 07871 (973) 729-5530 on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 3 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Feb. 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 427 Stanhope Rd., Sparta, N.J. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, N.J.
