Robert Kolm Obituary
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Van Tassel Funeral Home, 337 Belleville Ave, Bloomfield, N.J., on Tuesday, June 17, from 3 to 7 p.m. with a funeral service at 6 p.m.
Robert was born in Newark, N.J., to Mary Yanvary Kolm and Leonard C. Kolm. He was a longtime resident of Bloomfield for over 50 years; he originally lived in East Orange.
After completing high school at East Orange High, Robert became HVAC and refrigeration certified, and held an engineer's blue seal license. He was employed at Mountainside Hospital for over 40 years in the maintenance department and was a member of Union Local 68.
He was the brother of Leonard J. Kolm, of Saddle Brook, N.J., and devoted uncle to Tennille, Stephanie, and Travis, as well as a great-uncle to August Jason.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donation to the American Diabetes Association, 333 7th Ave No. 1700, New York, N.Y., 10001.
