They traveled to all 50 states, and they visited all the countries where GB served while in the military. Later during his retirement, GB went to work part time for Quest Diagnostics. He leaves behind a group of wonderful coworkers who also became his dear friends. GB was a member of the American Classics Car Club. I thought of GB this morning as I recalled he left this world in February. He called me on the afternoon before he was stricken to tell me he'd have the Quest vehicle ready for me to use the following day...just the type of guy he was. The photos of him are perfect

GB was without a doubt the warmest, nicest and most thoughtful person I've known. We were both couriers at Quest. One night after work he wanted to take me to supper and he suggested PT's near the hospital. That was my first visit to PT's and each and every time I go there I recall GB. He was simply a great guy

So glad to see these pictures of GB posted. Every time I go to PT's grill on 16th street I remember him inviting me to supper there one evening after we finished our courier route. That was my first visit to PT's, thanks to GB. He was one of the really good guys. Thinking of you, GB

The shock and sadness of GB's leaving this world will remain for a long time. I have a mental picture of GB in a Ford Torino at the Miljo way back when. GB was a special soul who was always warm, thoughful, polite...how do you spell a really good person...you spell it GB Dunn. RIP my friend

My deepest condolences to Sherry and the rest of GB's family. I was employed by GB and Sherry when I was in graduate school, and I always admired how hard they worked and how much pride they took in the quality of the work their company provided. But more than that I admired the love and respect they showed for each other every day. Theirs was a special kind of partnership, and they accomplished great things together. Peace be with you, Sherry, during this trying time.

So sad to hear of GB's passing. We saw each other at Car Shows around Wilmington from time to time. He was so knowledgeable and proud of his Mind Again Chevelle....a really nice car that he had owned in High School....He will be missed.
