I am lighting this candle for Eileen to carry with her on her eternal journey.

The path from our house across the alley to Eileen's house over the past 19 years has become a well-beaten path. We will miss her stories of childhood and working at St. Austin's school. We are grateful for the love and friendship we have shared, as that is what life is all about. We will especially miss taking care of Girl Friend, Frisco, and Frankie the cat. We are grateful to Sue and Jennifer for the inclusion as care providers during Eileen's struggle. They really made us feel like family and we are humbled. Our neighborhood just wont be the same now that Mrs. H is gone.

She was a angel here on earth and mom to many of the neighbor kids. She loved singing in the choir. May god watch over her!!!

The path across the alley from our house to Eileen's house was a well-worn path. We will miss her calls; taking care of Girl Friend, Frisco, and Frankie the cat; and most of all the visits to chat. Eileen was the most non-judgemental person we have ever met. She welcomed friends with open arms and always had a solution for any problem. The stories of her childhood were often told and she was thrilled to share them. Thomas Avenue will not be the same. We will miss her terribly.
