I do not remember when we became friends- sometime in junior high. Beginning when Brooke turned 16 ( and I was still 15 ) 1966, Brooke and I would go downtown to see all the rock groups play - Jefferson Airplane, The Who, Hermans Hermits, the Animals are the ones I remember. This was a very daring thing to do back then - she was the brave one. Because of Brooke, we met Peter Noone and the Animals and almost met the Who when we sneaked into the hotel. But we were caught - which was probably a very good thing! As is often the case, we drifted apart after high school and I have not seen her since. I hope she was content and loved in her life - which ( as I am about to turn 62) was much too short. Linda Spangrud Douville
